Being healthy is very important. If any work needs to be carried out properly by any particular person, his health should be in top notch. Being health physically is very important as it boosts the mental health and also increases the confidence of a person. But diseases are common today. Humans get affected by microbes by many ways. But this can be prevented. One of the best methods is to lead a healthy lifestyle.

Healthy lifestyle mainly involves staying clean, consumption of proper food and certain activities that are good for the body. Cleanliness is the best method to remain healthy. As most of the diseases causing microbes are due to dirt, being clean helps to avoid it. One must bath regularly so that his/her body remains clean. Hands must be washed before every meal. Drinking water must be purified by boiling and filtering to kill the microbes present in it.

Proper food intake is very essential to maintain a healthy diet and body. One must have food three times a day with a certain time limit between every intake. Fiber rich diet must be followed for proper metabolism and to avoid digestive problems. Consumption of green leafy vegetables at least once in a week is needed to supply the body, its regular dose of vitamins and minerals. One must also drink lots of water for the overall activity of the body.

Besides cleanliness and food, there are some activities that people need to follow for a healthy lifestyle. For proper digestion of the food that is eaten and to maintain the body in a proper shape, one must do some exercises daily. Exercises also help to keep the body fit and improve blood circulation. Sleep is also very essential. Six to eight hours of daily sleep is required to keep the mind and body fresh.
